Over the past eight years, Stand Up To Poverty has completed successful medical missions across three continents, improving healthcare access and empowering communities. Our sustainable, culturally sensitive approach has made a lasting impact in each location.
In 2018, SU2P embarked its first mission in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with over 40 medical professionals and Stony Brook Physician Assistant students, treating over 850 patients in our first five days. Since then, SU2P has organized additional missions in Haiti, El Salvador, Nigeria, Colombia, Uganda, and the United States.
