Over the past eight years, Stand Up To Poverty has completed successful medical missions across three continents, improving healthcare access and empowering communities. Our sustainable, culturally sensitive approach has made a lasting impact in each location.

In March 2018, Stand Up To Poverty established its first mission in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with over 40 medical professionals and Stony Brook Physician Assistant students, treating 878 patients in five days. Since then, SU2P has organized additional missions in Haiti, El Salvador, Nigeria, Colombia, United States and will soon expand to Uganda.
